Privacy policy
Effective May 8, 2026. MedSalve is a frontend showcase template; the policy below describes the standard a production deployment of this interface should follow.
1. Information we collect
When MedSalve is operated as a live pharmacy management system, we collect the minimum information required to deliver the service. This includes patient identifiers entered by clinical staff, prescriptions, dispensing records, supplier communications and operator activity logs.
2. How information is used
Patient and clinical data is used solely to fulfil the service requested by the operating pharmacy. Operator activity is logged for audit, compliance, and security purposes. Aggregated, fully anonymized usage data may be used to improve the platform.
3. Data retention
Clinical records are retained for the duration mandated by local health regulations and the pharmacy's own retention schedule. Operator activity logs are retained for 24 months unless a longer period is required by law.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with payment processors, hosting providers and regulators where contractually or legally required, and only the minimum necessary fields.
5. Security
Production deployments encrypt data at rest and in transit, scope access to least-privilege roles, and apply multi-factor sign-in for administrative accounts. Schedule G transactions require an additional verification step.
6. Patient rights
Patients may request a copy of their dispensing record, request correction of inaccurate data, or request erasure subject to statutory retention periods. Contact the pharmacy directly to exercise these rights.
7. Updates to this policy
Material changes to this policy will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use of MedSalve after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
